I really found myself enjoying Karin alot more than I thought I actually would, and now I'm eager to watch volume 6 to find out...certain things.

Movies

The Film/Show The concept of a blood-producing vampire is pretty original.
Presentation Nice artwork, but the presentation isn’t anything new and innovative.
Extra Features Three trailers and DVD credits just dissatisfying by even basic standards.
Tilt A fun, well-rounded anime in spite of the actual DVD shortcomings.

Yu-Yu Hakusho, season three box set

Yu-Yu Hakusho remains in my top tier of must-have anime for any diverse collection, and it really is among the better rankings for shonen titles in general.

Movies

The Film/Show It’s, as always, gripping and the action keeps you on your seat’s edge yelling at the TV in support of the spirit detectives.
Presentation The presentation is simple, but well designed. However, it is just previous discs repackaged in a new way.
Extra Features The best content was the character profiles, and there was little else offered, even in the way of trailers.
Tilt In spite of little extra content, and rehashed packaging, the story element overcomes any other shortcoming—and that’s really more important than anything else.

The Film/Show Compelling, but a little fast-paced for casual viewing.
Presentation Top-ranking animation, music, and package design.
Extra Features The game footage sets a high bar for the extras.
Tilt Great story and animation, with something for all action-related tastes.

Watching the OVA and all of the tv series has made me yearn to read all of the manga. It's an entertaining series with lovable characters.

The Film/Show There really isn’t a cohesive storyline, just two individual episodes.
Presentation Colorful and fun and an improvement in animation quality.
Extra Features You get the bottom of the bucket, unfortunately.
Tilt Amusing and enjoyable for fans of the series.

It's a cute story, and I really find myself relating more to Haruna with each successive chapter.

Story The pace slows since volume 1 and you get a better feel for the characters.
Presentation The added omake comics add some spice to an otherwise ordinary shoujo title.
