Summary:The film starts off great with a good story set in the past that leads into a small town in present day South Carolina. The characters each have what sound to be legitimate southern accents and good personalities. At the same time, the movie tends to become somewhat stagnant in the middle with little to add to the overall story. Parts of the story's religious message seems a bit tacked on, but it gets better as the movie moves along. As the movie wraps up, things come to a good climax as the tension builds. The film does a very nice job of building this tension and developing the mystery to the story. The actors compliment one another nicely, each having a nice screen presence and good chemistry. Overall, I enjoyed the film quite a bit, and it definitely exceeded my expectations. Movies
