Start a new tradition this year, and help an angel get her chutzpah... buy a copy of A Colbert Christmas. (Don't forget the 18 required "C" batteries). Ho-ho-ho! Where's the eggnog?

Movies

The Film/Show This was a funny show, had there been more content and a better production quality this would have rated higher. At times Colbert's comedy seemed a little forced, he's very dry.
Presentation Just a DVD, in a box. There was no booklette or extras with this.
Extra Features The features were fun, and well designed for this production.
Tilt This gets an average tilt, it wasn't poorly done, but also not exceptional in it's class.

This film was fantastic. There was a total lack of any special features, which hurt the overall score of this film quite a bit... but I would definitely recommend this film.

Movies

The Film/Show This film was original, and well produced. I really enjoyed this movie!
Presentation This was a very basic menu with hardly any work put into presentation. I would at least like a booklet or a menu that looks like it wasn't made in iDVD
Extra Features There were none. All you could do in the menu was rewatch the previews. This was the most disappointing part of this disc
Tilt I had to tilt up for the damage that the lack of features did to this film's rating. This is a good movie!

All in all this was a funny comedy. I enjoyed this movie, and saw it twice in theatres. While I was disappointed in some of the over use of stereotypes and rather obscene at times dialogue, I was able to look past it... because I went to a public school and heard much worse there.

I wouldn't buy this for someone too sensative to offensive language or stereotypes, but for the average movie goer this film is funny enough that you'll want to own a copy to pull off the shelf when you want a good solid 2 hours of laughs.

Movies

The Film/Show This film had a great cast, and was very funny.
Presentation The presentation of this 2-Disc set was well done. DVD menus were well ordered and easy to navigate, and the packaging looks different from your run of the mill DVD.
Extra Features The extra features were great, but the lack of original theatrical version in this set hurt the score
Tilt I tilted down for the simple fact that a lot of the changes in the director's cut didn't need to be there. The addition of pornography needlessly, more foul language. It wasn't content that got changed, it was presentation... and something was lost.

This is the SingStar game I’ve been waiting for. I’d probably buy any one of these tracks individually in the SingStore. Sony really put together a fun collection here!

Videogames

Gameplay The gameplay is the same in this title as it has been for the whole SingStar series, thus it scores the same as past reviews.
Presentation This is easy to play along with, and you don't have to "unlock" songs to play them. This is great for casual gamers.
Value The song selection here is fantastic, i think that a large majority of people will recognize these songs and enjoy singing along to them.
Fun Factor Karaoke is FUN!
Tilt I gave this title a higher tilt than previous SingStar titles because I think the song selection was well thought out, and appeals to a broad audience.

While I don't like country music, i do appreicate the classics. Who honestly can say they dislike Johnny Cash? SingStar continues to grow and diversify their catalogue, and is becoming a very great library of games!

Videogames

Gameplay the gameplay here is just like the other SingStar games. While it is fun, they could do a little more I think to expand the gameplay.
Presentation Well presented, as always I really enjoyed the inclusion of artist videos.
Value For about the cost of 15 SingStore downloads you get 30 songs. Pretty good value... unless you own a PS3 that isn't backwards compatible.
Fun Factor Karaoke is a blast, and now there is one for the country fans!
Tilt I gave this game an average tilt, because there were so many doubles with the artists they included. Diversify SingStar!

Like the other SingStar titles, this game was a lot of fun! Sony can keep churning these titles out, and I'll probably keep enjoying them!

Videogames

Gameplay Gameplay was almost identical to the other games in this series, so it scored the same.
Presentation The presentation was good, I enjoy watching the actual artists videos behind the songs as I sing and watch other people sing.
Value For about the cost of 20 SingStore downloads, you get 30 songs. This scored lower than other titles because I wouldn't have chosen these songs.
Fun Factor Karaoke was fun, is fun, and will probably always be fun!
Tilt This game is still average, but fun!

Reminded me of Karaoke in college, minus the pint glasses. I really enjoy the SingStar series, and it was nice to see an expansion to the catalogue.

Videogames

Gameplay This game was fun, but aside from singing, there really isn't much to it. With games like Rockband stepping up consumer expectations, SingStar could use a little refresh to make it more interesting.
Presentation Well presented, I liked the inclusion of artist videos.
Value For less than the cost of 30 SongStore downloads, you get a whole new catalogue!
Fun Factor Singing Karaoke is FUN, okay?

Marketing killed this film for me. Had it been presented to me as it actually is, I would have enjoyed it more.

Hollywood is trying to sell movie tickets and DVDs based on a small fraction of this film, ignoring what it really is under the belief that American audiences don't have a taste for anything but grit and action.

Movies

The Film/Show This film was good, but it was slow!
Presentation This was presented as action, and it was not. Such a waste of a perfectly good audio/visual set-up.
Extra Features The extra features in this film were decent, but the extra 30 minutes of never before seen footage didn't add to the experience of the film.
Tilt I gave this film an average tilt. I could see myself enjoying it more in the proper context. Acting was great, cinematography was beautiful.

This film was a pretty good movie. Overall I enjoyed it, although it's not what I would consider one of Johnny Depp's or Penelope Cruz's best works.

Movies

The Film/Show This film is pretty good, but it spends more time on the glorification of drug culture than on the consequences.
Presentation Presentation is great. Audio sounds good in Dolby 5.1, and the video looks great in 1080p.
Extra Features There were a suffient number of special features for a Blu-Ray disc. I was satisfied, but not awed.
Tilt This was a good film, but not a fantastic film. I tilted down a bit because I want a 10 to be a hard to reach goal for any movie.

This whole collection was great! There was SO much content, I've still not finished all four discs! With over 5 hours of movies, plus tons of commentary and special extras... you really get your money's worth!

Movies

The Film/Show For their time, revolutionary. Very few film makers have a career like Harryhausen, he was a pioneer.
Presentation This box set was very well put together
Extra Features There were TONS of great features!
Tilt Ray Harryhausen deserves a 10, and I am proud to give it to him.
