MySims Racing is everything a seasoned gamer would have expected it to be: a generic racer that pulls elements from several different preexisting racers. However, if you expected the game to suffer in quality, think again, as MySims racing does provide a solid racing experience with enough customization to make it feel somewhat unique. However, the main hitch that keeps either version of the game from scoring higher is its online functionality, something that both the DS and Wii versions of Mario Kart both utilize well. Though the Wii version of the game features no online multiplayer whatsoever, the DS version of the game does at least contain a bare bones online multiplayer experience. Still, if you're really into racers, you don't mind spending $30-$40, and you have at least one or more friends that will play the game with you (in the same room), then MySims Racing is worth a purchase.

Videogames

Gameplay MySims Racing is a solid racer that feels much like Mario Kart. Though the game only slightly lacks the gameplay perfection of Nintendo's racer, MySims is still just a generic racing clone. With that being said, it has good gameplay for a knockoff title. The DS Version of the game feels much like any racer from the N64 era while the Wii version has all of the control options of Mario Kart Wii.
Presentation Graphically, both versions of the game are only a little above average. Neither has a stellar musical score but the sound effects are great in both the Wii and the DS version.
Value The DS reigns supreme in this department considering it is $10 less and it features Nintendo Wi-Fi multiplayer with up to 3 friends. The Wii version does feature more modes of control schemes than the DS game but this is not enough to boost its value considerably.
Fun Factor Both games consist of fun multiplayer in different ways. The Wii version can be controlled in many different schemes and racing using the motion controls is a blast. The DS version consists of 2 player local download play as well as 1-4 player online play to boot. I had considerable fun with both versions of the game.
Tilt Though I'm always a fan of taking games wherever I go (and love handhelds for that reason), I would say that the Wii version of the game is a more enjoyable experience overall.
