Review Detail
A fine value for the novice and seasoned adventurer alike.
Videogames
| Gameplay | Great adventure for novices, yet still satisfying for more veteran adventure gamers. Intriguing mystery story, but it’s fairly small world to explore. |
| Presentation | These graphics won’t blow you away, but they don’t need to. The animations are a little stiff in areas, but overall the cartoonish look works well in contrast with the more serious nature of the story. The dialogue was very well written and the voice acting was overall good. |
| Value | At $20 or less online, this isn’t a bad pick up for a novice adventure gamer or one who is looking for an enjoyable weekend title. |
| Fun Factor | Adventures tend to ultimately be more satisfying and long lasting after the game is over instead of being outright ‘fun’ throughout the game, and Murder In the Abbey is no exception as pockets of the game are dry and boring. That said, there’s nothing like solving a puzzle or opening up more as the plot unfolds. |
