Greed Corp
W! Games released a new turn based strategy game last week on XBLA and PSN, and it's impressive. The game is Greed Corp, and the goal is to outlast your opponents as the world around you crumbles. A bit confused? I was too, even after the tutorial, but stick with Greed Corp, and it'll stick with you thanks to its addictive and well designed gameplay.

Vandal Hearts: Flames of Judgment
Vandal Hearts was first released on the Playstation in the mid 90s, and was well received. A sequel was made and enjoyed by many, but the series has been quiet until a prequel was just recently released on XBLA and the PSN. Vandal Hearts: Flames of Judgment is a competent and traditional strategy RPG that should appease fans of the genre who aren't expecting anything more than a typical gameplay experience.

Twin Blades: The Reaping Vanguard
Indie gamers are the future and it's good to see Xbox supporting the group. So, when I was presented with the opportunity to review Twin Blades: The Reaping Vanguard, I didn't hesitate.

Borderlands DLC (#2): Mad Moxxi's Underdome Riot
Borderlands expands again with its second major DLC release, Mad Moxxi's Underdome Riot. Unlike the original game and the first DLC, The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned, Underdome Riot is focused solely on surviving wave after wave of CPU enemies. What you'll face in this DLC is not unlike the Horde mode from Gears of War 2 or Firefight from Halo. Underdome Riot also includes a new weapons storage bank that can be upgraded, but seasoned players looking for a new level cap or new quests won't find that here.

Ion Assault (XBLA)
Developer Coreplay and publisher Black Inc. teamed up and recently released Ion Assault on Xbox Live Arcade. The Geometry Wars-meets-Asteroid inspired space arcade shooter combines some interesting gameplay features with a frantic and challenging campaign, as well as multiplayer modes. Is this one worth $10? If you're a fan of the genre, yes, but newcomers may want to try something a little easier first. Let's move in for a closer look...

Qubed
As convenient as DLC can be for both publisher and consumer, there's nothing quite like having the classic box, manual, and disc package. To that end, Atari is offering up three very popular Xbox Live Arcade titles, all from game designer Tetsuya Mizuguchi. The included titles are RezHD, Lumines Live, and Every Extend Extra Extreme (E4), and if that weren't compelling enough, the $20 price point should be.
