Dark Void
Dark Void looked and played so well at E3 2009. It had all the potential in the world and it left a dark void of mystery (yes, pun intended) about how the rest of the game went. Capcom was only running the flying/battle sequence at the show and all of us were in awe of how cool it would be to land on a flying ship and kick the crap out of the alien inside of it, thus taking control of the ship. Should have realized something was up at that point, but it was too cool to think beyond that moment.

Monster Hunter Freedom Unite
I have to admit -- I've never played a minute of the Monster Hunter games that first began on the PS2 in 2004. Capcom's hit series, that many thousands of Japanese gamers are especially fond of, has just never really interested me. However, when Monster Hunter Freedom Unite came across my desk for review, I thought I would step up to the plate and finally discover, if I could, what makes this niche game so very popular to many gamers.

Street Fighter IV
Thumbs aching? Check. Chores neglected? Check. Countering jump attacks with a Flash Kick? Check. I and thousands of other gamers around the world have been waiting for this week for some time now – the console release of Capcom's next major installment in their uber-famous fighting series, Street Fighter. We've been tantalized by screenshots, videos, press releases, and first hand impressions, but for many of us, this week was the first chance we've gotten to get our hands on Street Fighter IV. Well, the wait is over – it's here and ready to rock; without further delay lets review Capcom's first smash hit of the year.

Mega Man Star Force 2: Zerker x Ninja
Early Enjoyment Back in my days at Gamerz-Edge, I received fan feedback every once in a while but none more memorable than a few hate mail messages regarding some reviews on the Battle Network series. See, the misconception by my caustic critic was that I was not a true fan of the Battle Network series because I was urging Capcom to try something new with the format. Not that I’m a huge proponent of major changes if a format is fitting, but I hoped that some reasonable changes could begin occurring in the series to help keep the gameplay fresh.
