Shonen Jump's "Naruto" is a very popular and on going series of Japanese Manga that has been made into film, books, trading card games, and yes, video games -- lots of video games. The newest Naruto game is developed and published by Namco Bandai, and is called NARUTO Shippuden: Legends: Akatsuki Rising. I don't know the first thing about the Naruto universe but I'm having a good time with Akatusuki Rising, which I will refer to as simply AR for the rest of this review. Let's take a closer look.

I hadn't played the Katamari series in years before receiving Katamari Forever in for review. The newest, PS3-only, entry into the Katamari series that began on the PS2 features updated visuals, a new move, some other new gameplay elements, and all of the bizarreness that comes with a game built in the Katamari universe.

Nothing like training one's brain. Of course, for some of us, we need all the training we can get. Age 74 my ass.

Tales of Symphonia was a huge hit for the Gamecube some four years ago, and now Namco-Bandai Games is bringing a direct sequel to Wii gamers in the form of Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of A New World. Those who played through and are familiar with the original Tales game are sure to have a much more satisfying experience (in fact if you have your completed save game from the GC, you get a bonus item at the start of the game), but for the rest of us, Dawn of A New World may be one that gets put on the back burner indefinitely.

I can hear you now... "Another Namco Museum title?" Before you write this one off, consider what's included.

Bottom of the ninth; full count, bases loaded. There’s a flying turtle at the mound and an enormous lizard playing short stop. What’s your move? Naturally—execute a Star Swing and throw some banana peels into the outfield!

The Time Crisis series has come along way. When I first heard the fourth iteration was coming to the next gen consoles, I was excited. This would be the first lightgun game of the next generation, and I was interested to see how Namco Bandai would make it work. As many of you know, older lightgun games don't work, or don't work well at all, on flat screen TVs. Also of interest with this release was the exclusivity to the PS3, and the introduction of the GunCon3, which will hopefully open the door for more lightgun games, a dying but timeless genre.
