An attempt to blend strategy and action, Dynasty Warriors 6: Empires tries to inject new life into this aging series. This time around, it seems someone may have forgotten that you're supposed to at least try to innovate in sequels. Instead of making at least a little progress, the newest installment falls right on its rear.

Spidey is back in an all new single player beat'em up from the devs at Shaba Games and Treyarch. New York is under threat from a massive Symbiote outbreak and it's up to Spider-Man and his Allies to save the city. In doing so, players will get to determine if Spider-Man stays good or succumbs to the dark whispers of the Symbiote.

God of War quickly became one of my favorite franchises of all time with two incredible offerings on the PS2. While the PS3 version is still about a year out, SCEA and Ready At Dawn Studios have put together a very intriguing offering on the PSP, God of War – Chains of Olympus. As a die hard God of War fan, I couldn’t wait to see Kratos’ next adventure unfold...

Spider-Man video game fans haven’t had a lot to be excited about this year. Frankly, the Spider-Man 3 movie game was a flop, and try as we might, myself and most other gamers couldn’t’ find enough good about it to keep playing after the first few hours. Now, just ahead of the film’s release on DVD and Blu-ray, we have the new, albeit kid-focused, adventure entitled Spider-Man Friend Or Foe. I received this title for review on the Xbox 360 and have recently completed it with a friend.  

God of War is simply one of the greatest games of all time, and a game that is definitely in my personal top ten games, ever. What amazes me is that the sequel, released earlier this year, was not only able to recapture that level of greatness, but expand upon it, and make yet another phenomenal experience. It’s games like this that remind me why I play; a system seller in it’s own right, God of War II is simply superb.
