Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars
The PSN has become home to many clever downloadable titles, and one of the latest offerings is by Psyonix and it's called Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars (SARPRC). It's fun to say fast three times, but is it worth $14.99? How fun is it? Well, let's get to the review.

wipEout HD
Futuristic racing has seen many forms, but few as popular as the Wipeout series Sony first presented on the original Playstation in 1995. Since then, several sequels have been released, most recently on the PSP in the form of Wipeout Pure and Wipeout Pulse. Now, SCE Studios Liverpool combines the ships, tracks, and music of the two PSP hits with a little HD zazz to bring us WipeoutHD for the PS3 via the PSN.

Twisted Metal: Head-On: Extra Twisted Edition
Ten years removed from my last experience with the Twisted Metal franchise (then only on Twisted Metal 2), I inserted Twisted Metal: Head-On with a sense of anticipation and nostalgia. However, I was thoroughly disappointed to find that the franchise has not matured as I have, and, in many ways, Head-On is almost a replica of the original Twisted Metal games, showing little progression over the span of the series. Not an avid fan of the franchise, I found this incarnation unsatisfactorily similar to the first games, and it seems to me that only a true fan could find Twisted Metal: Head-On entertaining in the least.

Time Ace
I recently got a handful of new DS games to review, and of the bunch I have to say my favorite is Time Ace. While not a great game, it is actually quite addictive and fun. Time Ace puts the player in the role of Dr. Clock. In 1914, Dr. Clock creates a time machine with good intentions. His jealous and devious assistant Scythe, however, has other plans when he steals the time machine with the intention of gathering all the powerful weapons from the future and becoming the ruler of humanity. Dr. Clock is able to create another time device that he mounts to his modified bi-plane, as well as a temporal tracking device (to know where Scythe is in time of course) and begins his (nineteen) mission hunt to stop the evil bastard.
