Real time strategy games usually rely on resource management and building massive armies to take out your enemies. Majesty 2 is breaks that conventions by having the AI control the units, rather than the player. It sounds interesting in theory but when it's put into practice it's an exercise in frustration, but somehow works out to be a fairly fun frustration exercise.

Paradox Interactive was cool enough to provide us with three games for review lately, and having enjoyed space combat with Dark Horizon and the conclusion to an eerie adventure in Penumbra: Requiem, it was time to mount up and ride into an open world single player RPG adventure with Mount & Blade. While some ideas work, Mount & Blade overall has several glaring issues.

In February, Frictional Games released a chilling first person adventure called Penumbra: Black Plague. Now, Frictional Games brings us the final chapter in the Penumbra adventure in the form of Penumbra: Requiem. While much shorter and different in a few key ways to Black Plague, Requiem is still well worth your consideration.

Space combat pilots, take note; you have a new mission coming to a PC near you in the form of Dark Horizon. Featuring all of the action, a helping of RPG, and a good story, Dark Horizon is one to consider.
