Made of Honor was supposed to be Patrick Dempsey’s star vehicle follow-up to Enchanted. The critics weren’t very happy with Made, and it did so-so box office business. I’m not quite sure why, because it’s a fun, entertaining film with gorgeous scenery and very engaging turns by both Dempsey and...

The 10 year reunion edition—did we actually talk like that?! Have Guns ‘n Roses really gone out of style? And have we truly aged all that much? I mean, peep this!
The biggest party of the year has just gotten better--Amanda Beckett is single!! This is fantastic news for Preston, whose...

I’ll start with pure honesty: I am not a comic book or graphic novel aficionado. I’d never read Iron Man or seen the animated version before I slipped this DVD into my player at home.
None of that really matters because Iron Man is a good story and a good film....

Can’t Hardly Wait is a teen comedy from a decade ago that does a fantastic job in recapturing the stereotypes and pop culture that branded the late 1990’s. While the styles and music may be very specific to the times, the themes we see in this movie are those that...

In 2003, Ang Lee directed Hulk, a film about the big green machine in the Marvel universe. The film received mixed reviews, and is often considered one of the weaker comic to movie adaptations. Earlier this summer, the Hulk returned in The Incredible Hulk, seen by many as being a...

Jon Favreau has redeemed not only himself, but also redeemed the acting career of Robert Downey, Jr. (who also had something to do with his redemption). The strange part about all of this? The story of Iron Man is certainly one focused on redeeming oneself!
The irony.
Yeah... the movie can fly
Tony Stark is...

Leatherheads is a fun look at the beginnings of pro football, way, way back before it was arguably America’s favorite sport. It’s the 1920s, and the only football people are following is the college game. And the favorite college player is Carter Rutherford (John Krasinski), a WWI hero back in...

A movie that will challenge everything you thought you knew about Mike Meyers as a comedic phenomenon—in a bad way.

Myers has been a comedic genius for nearly all of his films. Lately he seems to be tapering off on what he wants to do and this type of in-decision may have affected his latest comedy, The Love Guru.
