Aspyr was cool enough to send us the PC/Mac hybrid release of Guitar Hero 3 last week, and I’ve spent some time with it this weekend on my PC. The good news? It’s the same great Guitar Hero you’ve come to know on the consoles. The bad news? Well, there isn’t much, so let’s get to the details.

Guitar Hero fan? Aerosmith fan, too? Well, Activision has a game for you. For the rest of us, it might not be as appealing given the price, content, and lack of downloadable content support. Guitar Hero Aerosmith is quite possibly an Aerosmith’s fan game come true (aside from Revolution X of course). However with very little new compared to Guitar Hero III, it could be a tough sell.
