Borderlands DLC #3: The Secret Armory of General Knoxx
Gearbox and 2K released the third DLC pack for Borderlands recently, and it's considered by many to be the best. The first DLC, Zombie Island of Dr. Ned, had gamers fighting off zombies while DLC #2 was arena based and featured Mad Moxxi. This third DLC, The Secret Armory of General Knoxx, picks up from the end of the original game and is packed with some great new features.

Borderlands DLC (#2): Mad Moxxi's Underdome Riot
Borderlands expands again with its second major DLC release, Mad Moxxi's Underdome Riot. Unlike the original game and the first DLC, The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned, Underdome Riot is focused solely on surviving wave after wave of CPU enemies. What you'll face in this DLC is not unlike the Horde mode from Gears of War 2 or Firefight from Halo. Underdome Riot also includes a new weapons storage bank that can be upgraded, but seasoned players looking for a new level cap or new quests won't find that here.

Borderlands
Gearbox Software, developers of the acclaimed Half-Life and Brothers In Arms series, teamed up with renowned publisher 2K Games to release Borderlands earlier this month. Borderlands is what Gearbox calls an RPS, a style of gameplay that is best described as an RPG crossed with a FPS. There have been first person RPGs before, but nothing quite like what has been done here with Borderlands. Let's take a closer look.

2K Games Announces Official Street Date for Borderlands
If you haven't seen anything on Borderlands then you're really just missing out. The release date has officially been announced and life couldn't be better. Official details below: --------------------
The final stop to at the 2K Meeting Room was to see Gearbox's new RPS (as they call it, Role  Playing Shooter) known as Borderlands. The first major point to make about Borderlands this  year at E3 is that the graphics have changed tremendously, and by far for the better, than  previous available coverage of the game. Before, Borderlands was a rather drab and dreary  looking title, with tons of browns, blacks, and grays and it didn't exactly pop off the  screen. Now, a new art style has been put into place that makes a lot of the game have that  sleek, crisp, and vibrant look to it. The experience looks a lot more colorful too, and  honestly I'm not exaggerating when I say that Borderlands was one of the best visually  appealing titles at the show. Now, on to the core game; Borderlands is an FPS, but not in your traditional sense. Gearbox  has created what may very well be the first, or at least first to be this robust, RPG that  is focused on guns. There is an untold number of weapons in the game, but the figure is  literally over a million, but that really isn't the point....
