So just in case you've missed the memo, Gamestop stores across the nation [PDF] will be hosting a Street Fighter IV tournament starting February 21 at 2 PM (for the first round).  The second round is to be held a week later, with the finals taking place March 14.  And if you win, you get a Limited Edition Street Fighter IV Arcade Unit.

Well, if you aren't lucky enough to have a Gamestop in your area (or if you just want to double your chances), maybe you've got a Game Crazy near you instead.  If that's the case (and as long as you're at least 13 years of age), you'll be able to take part in their own SFIV tournament, happening on February 20 (the day before the Gamestop tourney).  Serious strategists jerks may also consider attending the Game Crazy tournament, sandbagging, and then opening a can of whoop-ass the next night against the same opponents at the Gamestop event (not recommended).

Whatever your thang, you really ought to pencil these in.  The newly-announced Game Crazy tournament isn't quite worth a limited-edition arcade cabinet, but $500 sounds pretty good, too, right?

There's just one drawback you'll have to deal with: both outlets will be forcing all players to play with the Xbox 360 original gamepad, meaning that you might every once in a while miss that crucial Hadoken.  Or maybe even walk LEFT when you're expecting to walk RIGHT.  On a related note, if you ever get the chance, ask our old pal Ken Lobb about the power of 360 fighting joysticks.  He would probably know because he cleaned our clock one time by employing its use, in secret, against our team of challengers over Xbox Live! (playing Street Fighter II: Hyper Fighting).
